THE PILGRIM MILL - RESTAURANT AND GUEST-HOUSE

A pilgrimage through our life, a pilgrimage through time, a pilgrimage to the holy places.

The theme of the interior is based upon stories of pilgrimage. An ancient map of the main routes of pilgrimage, (Rome, Santiago de Compostella, Jerusalem, Marianka ) can be seen in the V.I.P section (salon) of the restaurant. There is also a photos of the local Madonna which can be found in the café bar along images of Donner’s sculptures of St. Anthony and St. Paul. Photos from the author’s own pilgrimage to Santiago de Compostella in 2010 can be seen by the mill-wheel in the corridor between the restaurant and the main hall.

The theme of pilgrimage through time is reinforced by the figure of the old clock, which you can observe from any angle and view its interior mechanism.
