SQUARE BY THE NEW CANTEEN- UNIVERSITY OF ZILINA - PROJECT

All of the world's university campuses incorporate parks, squares, sports fields, and other student rest areas, which complement the learning processes.

Our task was to create a new assembly space in the exterior within the university campus to be used for cultural and social events. The square by the New Canteen is intended to showcase the integration of modern technologies (smart benches, smart lights, etc.) into landscape design with its main goal of providing sufficient shading, visual comfort as well as water retention.

The studio chose to cooperate with the sculptor Bohuš Kubinský, who proposed to complete the whole area with a set of sculptures that will reflect the beauty of the surrounding nature.
