KINDERGARTEN – PODZÁMČÍ

A low-energy building in Podzamci houses a kindergarten with 4 classes and a capacity of about 100 children. The kindergarten building is formed by a ground floor pavilion with a central atrium. The ground floor is subdivided into two wings connected by a glass two-storey foyer and a multifunctional hall. In each of the wings, there are located the day rooms for children, which are rotated to ensure sufficient sunlight in the east-west direction.

The entire building is insulated with a wooden ventilated facade. The kindergarten garden has a total area of 3047 square meters. It is designed as a combination of playgrounds and grassy areas complemented by elements of small architecture and greenery.
