BARN HOUSE

This wooden house with self-conscious barn design has been created with the effort to maintain complete transparency with regards to the materials used. The minimalist character of the exterior is complemented by a clean interior with visible structural elements.

The barn house provides instant relaxation for any city-based person, having a red spruce facade mounted on a concrete slab, and by being located in a valley with beautiful views of the Little Fatra mountains.

The joy in creation of this house stems from the untamed openness of the owner to all of the architect’s ideas as well as from creative provocations of the owner himself.

structure: massive construction from CLT panels and bio boards, visible in the interior. The ground floor is formed of architectural concrete.
