BRICK APARTMENT BUILDINGS

In a tribute to the iconic “Baťa” architecture, VAN JARINA studio proposed a design for apartment buildings in Bošany - a village known for its involvement in the footwear industry. Apartment units with an average usable area of 60m2 were designed for low-income families and will be built in cooperation with state aid. Bata’s philosophy of affordable housing can be seen in the financial availability, the care put into minimalistic functional solutions as well as in the prevailing brick cladding on most of the faces.
